Title:
Ooops! You want to change and revoke data you have already distributed? A data-centric auditable approach for securing your environment beyond encryption.
Presentation Abstract:
Data breaches and ransomware attacks are increasing in frequency and scope. In turn, data protection and privacy are more critical than ever. However, organizations still need to share essential data across business units and with external partners to operate their business efficiently and innovatively.
The key questions that remain are:
-How can you manage data usage and protect your sensitive data as it leaves the safeguard of your system of record?
-Can you keep privacy intact to mitigate the risk of theft while complying with regulatory directives?
-How can you provide an auditable trace with whom your protected data was shared, and can you revoke or change their access to those data sets after they left your system?
If you are intrigued by these questions, join us to learn how you can leave non-sensitive data in the clear for use while keeping sensitive data private by using IBM Hyper Protect Data Controller (HPDC). In this session, we’ll discuss today’s data protection challenges and illustrate the benefits of the data-centric protection delivered by Hyper Protect Data Controller (HPDC) through several sample use cases based on real customer challenges.
