IBM Cloud Paks & Db2 for z/OS Data Gate
Tuesday, July 21st, 2020
12:00 PM – 4:30 PM EST
Virtual Webex Meeting

As enterprises continue the journey to cloud, they will look for tools that will allow them to deliver innovation at scale and at a lower cost. With that in mind, IBM has introduced Cloud Paks to provide an open environment to quickly build new cloud-native applications, modernize and extend upon existing applications, and deploy middleware in a consistent manner across multiple clouds. Please join us as we provide an overview of IBM Cloud Paks, an enterprise ready, containerized software solutions that provides an open, faster, and more secure way to move core business applications to any cloud.

Our second session will focus on IBM Db2 for z/OS Data Gate, which offers a modern hybrid cloud approach for IBM Z customers to efficiently deliver data originating in Db2 for z/OS. With Db2 Data Gate organizations can readily support the increasing demand for new hybrid cloud use cases such as inquiry (read-only) transactions and transactional caches, off-platform warehousing and analytics, and extending System of Record data to the Cloud.
