Open Mainframe Project Members and Community,
The schedule is live for this year’s Open Mainframe Summit, hosted in person in Philadelphia and virtually for attendees around the globe on Wednesday, September 21, and Thursday, September 22, 2022.
The theme of this event focuses on security, which is the hottest topic not only in the mainframe industry but in technology in general. We have assembled some of the best speakers on this topic, and everyone in attendance will walk away with deep insights and practical guidance on this ever-changing landscape. Take a look at some of the sessions:
Additionally, David Wheeler, Open Source Supply Chain Security Director at the Linux Foundation, will give a keynote.
The event has is a full lineup of speakers covering projects such as Zowe and COBOL, education, and training. Registration for academia is $50 for in-person and $15 for a virtual pass. Register here.
Blog and videos from around the community.
Our projects have some great momentum in 2022. Read some of the blog posts and articles are projects are posting.
We are always looking for guest blog posts from members and projects at the Open Mainframe Project that illustrates thought leadership in open source on mainframe space; drop us a note with your ideas.
As always, we are working with the Governing Board and technical communities to find more ways to drive collaboration and engagement across the hosted projects and the ecosystem as a whole. If you see ways that Open Mainframe Project can help – feel free to reach out to me or come to an upcoming meeting and get involved.
Thank you, again, for your support of the Open Mainframe Project!
