The Council Committee is proud to announce the agenda for the June 2nd Council. Program for broadening write my paper for me the horizons of the students. We have a great agenda with a theme around services, with discussions on Database-as-a-Service, Blockchain and service monitoring. We also have Anthony Tortola from SUSE providing an update, Shereen Ghobrial from IBM compiler development labs discussing latest on compilers and Cameron Seay from NC A&T State University discussing how he uses services in his education programs. You’re invited to join us for the next session of the Linux on z Systems Executive Advisory Council. We launched this council in 2002 in order to garner your insights and foster communications among the z Systems Linux community. We are grateful for Verisk’s gracious invitation to host this council session at their auditorium, particularly given our tremendous gains in attendance and popularity. This quarter’s council focus is on solution technologies powering LinuxOne. The council welcomes IBM’s Rebecca Gott and Michel Considine. They will be sharing thoughts and ideas around a Database-as-a-Service (DBaaS)) reference architecture powered by LinuxOne. Next on the agenda will be Anthony Tortola and John Stellin from SuSE. They will be providing an update on SuSE including technologies empowering the new application deployment mind set. After the break, the council is excited to host a customer panel. The panelist will talk about thoughts and ideas regarding Blockchain based on a Blockchain workshop they attended. The council is also pleased to have Mike Sine, IBM Solution Specialist IBM Service Management. Mike will be discussing how to monitor Blockchain and DBaaS running on LinuxOne. Next on the agenda, the council is pleased to have back Shereen Ghobrial System z Compliers. Shereen will provide an update on the Linux on z System Compliers. Last speaker of the day with be Cameron Seay from NC A&T State University. Cameron will be discussing Cloud tools he uses for education.
