Join us for a virtual session about Java on z/OS!  We’ll share the latest Java community news and roadmap, and discuss various Java integration, frameworks, and deployment options on the platform.  Learn about the cutting-edge IBM Z advancements designed to accelerate Java performance, and how you can leverage them for your Java workloads today.


Speaker Bio:

Joran Siu is the IBM Runtimes Architect for IBM Z, responsible for the Java and Node.js runtimes on the platform. Over the past 15 years, Joran has been a key contributor to the Just-In-Time compiler used in IBM SDK for Java.  He works closely with both Z hardware and middleware teams to develop innovative capabilities to accelerate Java workloads on Z.  Joran is based at the IBM Canada Software Lab, in Markham, ON, Canada.


Also there will be an additional Open Mic meeting: September 11th @12:30pm-1:30pm

This meeting will not be recorded and is just for open discussion and additional questions. It is also by invite only so please email us or let us know during the event if you would like to attend.
